Our Pastoral Care Team is an important part of our mission in helping the less fortunate individuals of Fannin County. They have been through a training process and are able to meet with a resident on an as-needed basis for biblical counseling. When residents come in, many of them request to speak with a pastor.

Meet Pastor Wayne Walters! An invaluable member of our support team at Open Arms Shelter.

Pastor Wayne is the pastor of First United Methodist Church in Trenton Texas. He comes and meets with the residents on a weekly basis to help with case reviews as well as pastoral/Biblical counseling. He is also available as needed when a resident requests pastoral care. Pastor Wayne is here on Wednesdays starting at 9:00 AM. Come out and say hello!
